Cementitious Tile Grout

D880 DURABUILD CEMNTITIOUS TILE GROUT is used in filling tile joints / gaps. It does not allow water to seep into the back of the tile and cause; dislocation. It firmly holds the tiles together to provide a hard wearing, non-dusting surface to the floor tiles. It is recommended for filling both vertical and horizontal joints of the tile upto 12 mm.

Uses: 

D880 DURABUILD Cemntitious Tile Grout is basically used to provide smooth waterproof hard wearing tile joints matching environment of tile. It is used in domestic floor and wall tiles and also in other areas like commercial establishment, interiors, exteriors, dry areas, laboratories, bakeries, super markets, show room, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, swimming pool, showers etc.

High bonding, compressive and tensile strength ensure care free joints upto the life of the tile, excellent matching of colours of tile, UV resistant, Avoid crack formation with negligible shrinkage.

Application Method:

Surface Preparation :

Joints should be free from efflorescence, laitance, dirt and other loose material. Remove thoroughly by dry brushing or washing with water containing detergent and then with clean water. Ensure the joints are dry before grouting.

Mixing :

Mix 3 parts of D880 DURABUILD Cemntitious Tile Grout with 1 part of clean water until lump free smooth paste of uniform colour is obtained. Do not add extra water.

Application :

Apply the paste to the tile joints / gaps with sponge / squeeze trowel and remove the surplus paste with a damp sponge Do not exceed the working time of the grout. Allow about 15 minutes for the grout to dry a little before cleaning off. Clean with water to remove any dried grout film from the tile surface.

Precautions and Limitations:

• Change the felt pad and sponge when saturated with product.
• Do not walk on the newly grouted surface, in order to avoid damaging the flooring.
• Do not use excess water.
• Grouting should be carried out only after the tile is completely set.

Dosage:

It depends on the size of the tiles and width of the tiles joints. For typically 3 mm deep joints the following table may be consulted as a guide line.

Shelf Life:

Store in cool, dry place with 12 months shelf life in unopened conditions.

Health & Safety:

Non-toxic, eco-friendly. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Wash with copious quantity of water in case of contact with eyes / skin. Wear protective clothing.
